Big is Beautiful

 Well, you may not be a biggie in the true sense of the term but what's wrong in wanting to make a 'big impression'? We're not not talking about adding a few extra kilos on your frame but sporting something that makes you stand out or look a little impactful (in a nice way). Oversized bags, danglers, prints or glares, even a single one of these items can change your look for a day...
- Glares
Big glares look both casual and starry at the same time. They also protect your eyes and keep your hair off the face when on the head. Pink, light brown, amber, green or light orange lenses with red, white, silver, grey or violet frames look pretty hot. But please stick to a classic all black Aviator or Wayfarer for work.
Tip: Stay away from oversized glasses if you have a big or broad face.
- Watches
When it comes to watches, size does matter. Women do prefer those big chunky watches with large dials. Be it an all-black military style watch or a classy Swarovski studded one, your watch does make a powerful style statement.
Tip: Wear a big watch with a solid leather strap if you have a scrawny wrist.
- Prints
Big floral patterns and psychedelics are hot this season, especially in knee length and maxi dresses. One can also see oversized digital prints in pleated skirts. But balance your look with a skirt/trouserin a solid colour if you are sporting large prints, especially to work. Keep the jewellery minimal - either a large pendant or a pair of danglers.
Tip: Slim women should never wear prints on trapeze or A-line skirts. Petite women can sport them all over an outfit whereas bulky women should keep the large prints below their hips.
- Jewellery
A stunning pair of danglers or a military band bracelet can speak volumes about your sense of style. Cuffs or thick bracelets look great with western formals. On the other hand, big hoop earrings are back in vogue. Bug bangles in geometric shapes are available in metal s well as plastic.
Tip: Avoid wearing tiny pieces of jewellery with your big bangle or kada. Stick to metals with your formals and plastic ones with casuals.
