 Silence - Prithvi
I once walked through a pretty little garden,
She seemed so very perfect until it poured.
Even then the beauty around me kept me going,
Walking deeper and deeper without knowing.

The rain moved on, but I choose to stay,
Against my will but my heart gave way.
I absorbed her silence as I was wondering,
Then I sat down and began pondering.

I thought of the days that had gone by,
Silence filled the air, as I heard her lullaby,
When speech becomes hollow, Silence is best,
Inexpressible feeling's that Silence puts to rest.

Silence, more wise than words sang a song,
Telling me to wake up and move on.
I looked around for the very last time,
Wishing I could stay, but I'd rather not whine.
