A three-part outfit that comprises a long shirt (kameez), flared trousers with a tie up at the waist (salwar) and a dupatta. The lehenga is fitted till the knee and then flares out till the bottom, thus giving the appearance of a fish tail.

Rajasthani Kali cut
A lehenga that has a lot of panels or kalis. It can be straight or flared depending on the number of kalis in it. Rajasthani Royalty is known to wear lehengas with as many as 100 kalis in them, weighing in excess of 30-40 kilos.
